  • Identification and development of latent heat storage materials in the temperature range of 10oC – 40oC for building applications.
  • Identification and development of latent heat storage materials in the temperature range of 40oC – 250oC for Solar Thermal Systems (Solar Cooker, PCM Wall, Solar Water Heating System, Foot Warmer etc.) & Industrial Waste Heat Recovery Systems.
  • Development of heating/cooling pad for bio-medical applications.
  • Measurement of Thermophysical properties of latent heat storage materials.
  • Thermal Stability Testing of latent heat storage materials.
  • Eutectics Development for thermal energy storage applications.
  • Transmittivity measurement of latent heat storage materials for building applications.
  • Design, Development and Thermal Performance Evaluation of Different Solar Thermal System and Waste Heat Recovery Systems.

  • A Department of Science & Technology (DST), New Delhi sponsored project entitled, “Utilization and Development of the Phase Change Materials for Building Applications (Reference No. SR/S3/MERC/014/2010)” under the SERC Scheme (01/02/11-31/12/14).
  • A Joint research project proposal entitled “Development of the Phase Change Materials (PCMs) for Thermal Energy Storage (Heating/Cooling) Applications (Reference No. GITA/DST/TWN/P-40/2012)” under the Indo-Taiwan S&T cooperation program scheme between ‘Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology (RGIPT) Rae Bareli’ & ‘Department of Mechanical Engineering, Kun Shan University, Tainan, Taiwan, R.O.C. (01/03/2012-28/02/2015).
  • A Department of Science & Technology (DST), New Delhi sponsored project entitled, “Design and Development of heating/cooling pads, foot warmer and thermal jackets based on Phase Change Materials (PCMs) for old aged persons (Reference No. SEED/TIDE/017/2012)” under the Technology Interventions for Disabled and Elderly (TIDE), has been awarded from the Department of Science & Technology (DST), New Delhi (18/12/2013-31/03/2015).
