Electrical & Electronics Engineering Department offers a PhD Program in Electrical Engineering and Three Year Diploma Programs in three different Engineering Disciplines (1) Electrical Engineering, (2) Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering, and (3) Computer Science & Engineering to cater the ever-challenging needs of technical excellence in the Emerging & Prominent Fields of Electrical & Electronics Systems and Computing.

Diploma in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering

The branch concerned with the principles and operations of measuring instruments. Students will undergo learning in various topics such as electronic circuits, analog electronics, instrumentation, control systems, electronic instruments, Power electronics and microprocessors, and computer-aided design. The branch is sought after in many industries. It helps to ensure systems and processes work efficiently and in a safe environment.

The branch of Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering was established at RGIPT Sivasagar Campus in 2020. Currently, there is a student capacity of 30 students per academic year.
