Library

The library has been developed incrementally since its inception in 2018, with a focused vision to support academic excellence and research advancement. It houses a growing collection of books primarily in the domain of Energy and its applications covering diversified themes such as Energy Sources, Energy Materials, Energy System Modelling, Electric Vehicle Design, Electric Drive Control, and Sensors and Instrumentation in Energy Systems. In addition, books aimed at strengthening basic and interdisciplinary specializations, including the English Language, have also been added to enrich the collection. It adopts the Dewey Decimal Classification system (DDC), specifically using the 23rd edition for books.

With the introduction of the BBA program, the library has further expanded its resources to include books related to Management, Economics, Accounting, and allied subjects, ensuring comprehensive academic support for the new course. In addition, the library extends its support catering to the specialization of final year B.Tech students in the domain of Computer Science Engineering & Electronics Engineering.

The library serves as a gateway to culminate knowledge, imagination, and drive inspiration to students. It provides a serene, resource-rich environment for students, researchers, faculty members, and lifelong learners.

The library strives to enhance students’ skills and learning outcomes through an effective circulation and access methodology, ensuring optimal utilization of resources. At present, the library holds a total of 967 books across various disciplines, and the collection continues to grow in alignment with academic requirements.

The development, governance, and continuous improvement of the library are guided by the Library Committee, which plays a vital role in policy formulation, resource selection, and ensuring the Library meets the evolving academic and research needs of the Institute.
