The Office of the Dean of Academic Affairs (DoAA) is liable for the implementation of the decisions taken on academic matters by the Senate, the Department Undergraduate Committee (DUGC) and the Department Postgraduate Committee (DPGC). The primary roles and responsibilities are:
- To maintains all the records related to the undergraduate programmes including curricula, courses offered, academic calendar, registration, leave, examinations, grades and award of degrees
- Circulate the information pertaining to all academic matters
- Release necessary notices and office orders on the relevant matters
- Executes as a channel of communication among the Students, Instructors, Departments and DUGC/DPGC
- To assist the DUGC, DPGC and its subcommittees in their smooth functioning
