    Dr Arvind Singh

    Prior to joining the Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology (RGIPT) in January 2022 as faculty, I was working in the Department of Chemical Engineering at the BIT Sindri Dhanbad, a premier institute in Jharkhand. I did my Ph D and M Tech at IIT (BHU) Varanasi. My research mainly focused on the development of materials for energy applications and processes for the bioremediation of pollutants. Other areas of interest included the development of catalysts and their characterization for hydrogen production, and the findings have appeared in journals of international repute. My current research revolves around the convergence of biotechnology and chemical engineering in addressing the needs of the country in terms of expected energy concerns and water pollution.
